Important Notice Regarding Closure and Continuity of Patient Care

Notice Date: October 19, 2026

Dear Acacia Medical Mission Patients and Families,

It is with heartfelt gratitude, and a heavy heart, that we share important news about the future of Acacia Medical Mission.

After many years of faithfully serving our community, Acacia Medical Mission will permanently close on December 31, 2026.

Throughout the years, it has been our greatest privilege to walk alongside you on your healthcare journey. What began as a mission to provide compassionate, accessible medical care to those in need became something much greater… a community built on faith, kindness, service, and genuine relationships.

To every patient who has entrusted us with their health and well-being, thank you. Your trust has meant more to our staff, volunteers, and medical providers than words can express. It has truly been an honor to care for you and your families.

Important Dates and Changes to Patient Care

As we prepare for this transition, please be aware of the following dates:

  • November 19, 2026 — Final Day of In-Person Appointments: Acacia will conclude all in-person patient appointments on this date.

  • November 20 – December 31, 2026 — Telehealth Transition: Acacia anticipates providing limited telehealth appointments, subject to provider availability and clinical appropriateness. Not all medical needs can be addressed through telehealth.

  • December 31, 2026 — Permanent Closure: Acacia Medical Mission will officially close, and all patient care services provided by Acacia will end.

We strongly encourage patients to begin establishing care with another healthcare provider as soon as possible, particularly those who require ongoing treatment, prescription management, laboratory monitoring, specialist referrals, or follow-up care.

Please do not wait until the final days of operation to make arrangements for your continued healthcare needs.

If you have questions about your current treatment plan, medications, pending test results, or necessary follow-up care, please contact Acacia before your next scheduled appointment or as soon as possible.

With Heartfelt Gratitude

While this chapter of Acacia Medical Mission is coming to a close, the relationships, memories, and lives touched throughout the years will remain a lasting part of our story. We are profoundly grateful for the dedicated volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, staff, and community supporters who have given so generously of their time, talents, and hearts to make this mission possible. Most importantly, we are grateful for you. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives, for trusting us with your care, and for being part of the Acacia Medical Mission family. Although the doors of Acacia will close, our prayer is that the compassion, dignity, and hope that shaped this mission will continue through the lives of those we have been privileged to serve. It has been our sincere blessing and privilege to walk alongside you.

With heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes,
